Google Releases Play Store 5.1 Update with Full-Height Navigation and New Android 5.0 Visuals

Google Play Store has just been updated and it now reaches version 5.1.11 which brings several new goodies. The new version is being rolled out in phases, but you can find the APK file of Google Play Store 5.1.11 at the end of this post.

For the first time since ever the Google Play Store will be sporting a full-height Navigation and we will finally be able to say goodbye to the hamburger menu that was sported up until today. The new update doesn’t bring way too many changes, but it is filled with tweaks and improvements that should allow you to run Google Play Store smooth and fast. Also, there are tons of Android 5.0 tweaks along with various new animations to match Google’s brand new operating system.

Here are some other changes added in Google Play Store v5.1.11: real-time card shadows for Android 5.0 and later versions, visuals and scrolling optimizations added to My Apps menu, a brand new My Account screen where you can review your purchase order history, and bug fixes. With the new My Account menu you will be able to add and edit new payment methods much more easily, view the entire order history along with purchases made by you since the first day you’ve used your Android device.
