Leaked videos show how much you’re going to love Lollipop on the HTC One (M8)

Both the HTC One (M7) and the HTC One (M8) were two of our favorite phones released over the past two years and now it looks like they’re going to get significantly better once they’re upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. LlabTooFer has posted some exclusive screenshots and videos of what the HTC One (M8) will look like with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop installed alongside HTC’s Sense 6.0 overlay.

One of the features highlighted in the videos shows the newest version of Sense’s “Easy Mode” that gives you quick access to your phone’s most basic functions such as your contacts, your camera, your text messages and a web browser. This interface has been overhauled to reflect the look of Material Design and it features a lot of the great animations that we’ve come to expect in Android 5.0.

A separate video shows off some of the added accessibility features on Lollipop with Sense 6.0, including options for adjusting color inversion, color correction and high Contrast text.

We still don’t know for certain when Lollipop will roll out to the One (M8) and One (M7), although HTC said at the start of November that both devices would be upgraded within three months. Given that we’re at the end of December right now, we should probably expect Lollipop to release on both of HTC’s last two flagship phones in January.
