It also enhances Visual Voice Mail user interface, the stability of HD Voice and Video calls, implements Data Usage Counter for Video calls, and updates My Verizon Mobile for Advanced Calling Self Provisioning. The new Android 4.4.4 build also brings updates for may Google Apps.
As usual, the new Android 4.4.4 update for LG G2 is being rolled out in phases which means that some of you might not be able to download and install it right away. You probably know already that as soon as your smartphone becomes eligible to receive the new firmware, you should be able to see a system update message in the notifications bar. In case the system update notification failed to appear, you would also want to perform a manual check under Settings > General > About phone > Software updates > Check now.
The new firmware has build number VS98027A and unfortunately, there is no information regarding its size. Anyway, expect it to weigh in above 200 MB, so it’s recommended to download it using a stable WiFi network to avoid unwanted data charges.
