Verizon to Debut Note Edge January 8th, Nexus 6 Mid-February

Early September, the folks at Samsung introduced Galaxy Note Edge, their first device with the display curved over one of the edges. Note Edge debuted on the US market mid-November and since then it was made available for purchase on three out of the four major US carriers. Anyway, starting this week, the Verizon customers will also be able to purchase the new handset.
According to Phandroid, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge should debut through Verizon’s network on January 8th. The device will be priced at $399 with a two-year contract, or $33.32 a month for 24 month with Verizon’s Edge program. The off-contract Note Edge will have a price tag of $799. For what it’s worth, Sprint is currently selling the Note Edge at $429 on-contract, AT&T asks $399 with a two-year agreement, and the T-Mobile model costs $870 no strings attached.
The same source also provided Phandroid with information regarding Nexus 6’s debut at Verizon. If their source prove to be accurate, then the phablet co-developed by Google and Motorola should become available through Brig Red sometime mid-February. There is no information though regarding the Nexus 6 pricing on Verizon. Anyway, you should expect it to be priced similarly to AT&T and Sprint variants: between $249 – $299 with a two-year contract.
Unfortunately, there is no way to verify the veracity of the reports. That’s why we are advising you to take them with a pinch of salt. After all, nothing is official until Verizon says so.
