Lenovo K4 Note confirmed to feature NFC chip, fingerprint scanner ahead of January 5 India launch
Lenovo is all set to launch its forthcoming K4 Note phablet in India on January 5. Ahead of the launch, Lenovo has been teasing the key feature and specifications of the phablet in bits and pieces.
Now, Lenovo has put up another teaser on its Twitter account with a caption – ‘Data Protection with a Fingerprint Reader and as a bonus, an NFC chip too!’ The tweet reads “The K4 Note now has Fingerprint security thnx to you! As a bonus, we threw in an NFC chip as well! #KillerNote2016”
Lenovo K4 Note specifications and features: In the earlier teasers, Lenovo has confirmed that the K4 Note will feature a fingerprint scanner and 3GB of RAM. While details about the screen size and processor aren’t known yet, the phablet is also expected to boast a metal body.
Lenovo’s K3 Note was priced at Rs 9,999 and was loaded with decent set of hardware. If Lenovo could somehow price the K4 Note in the same price range, it could be one of the affordable phablets to look out for.
In comparison, the predecessor, Lenovo K3 Note is equipped with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display. It is powered by MediaTek’s MT6752 octa-core 64-bit processor and paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage along with microSD card slot.
The K3 Note also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie unit and 3,000mAh battery, with connectivity options such as 4G LTE support and dual-SIM card slots. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Lenovo’s Vibe UI running atop. The K3 Note is also due to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update next year.
