Lenovo’s Android 6.0 update roadmap leaks, K3 Note to be the first to receive the update
Last month we came across Lenovo’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow update timeline, according to which the K3 Note, A7000, A7000 Plus were in line to get the update in September 2016. Now, a leaked photo surfaced on Weibo sheds some light on when the Lenovo smartphones would start receiving the update.
According to the new leak, the Lenovo K3 Note international variant will be the first to receive the update. The timeframe for the same could be sometime in March 2016. In the same month, the Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe X3 Chinese variants are expected to get the update.
The Chinese variant of the K3 Note and the international variant of the Lenovo A7000 will be updated to Android 6.0 in April. In May, the update is due to hit international variants of the Vibe X3 and Vibe P1.
The recently launched Lenovo Vibe S1 with dual-selfie cameras is also due for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in June, followed by Vibe X3 and A7000 Plus in July. This being a leak, we would advise you to wait until Lenovo officially confirms the update rollout timeline. Till then, stay tuned.
