China-based Oukitel’s smartphone boasts a whopping 10,000mAh battery; 10-day battery life

To bring convenience to smartphone users who often complain about low battery backup, Oukitel will soon roll out a smartphone that packs a whopping 10,000mAh battery. The China-based company claims that the battery is good enough to last up to 10 days.The company has named the smartphone as K10000 and says that a single full-charge would last approximately 10 days. However, it is still unclear whether the phone would have a Quick Charge support.The smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD (720p) display, MediaTek MT6735 quad-core chipset clocked at 1 GHz, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage along with microSD card.

The smartphone also features an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, 2-megapixel selfie camera, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. As per PhoneArena, the Oukitel K10000 will be priced at $239.99, which roughly translates to Rs 16,120.

Oukitel recently also launched the K4000 in China, which as the name suggests boasts a 4,000mAh battery. The company claims that the smartphone’s battery is good enough to last up to seven days on ‘normal use’.
