Alleged Apple iPhone 7 case leaks; shows bigger camera cut out none for 3.5 mm audio jack

We may be a few months away from unveiling of the Apple iPhone 7, but the rumor mill has been buzzing for the past few months. From expected hardware to design and features, we’ve already come across a lot regarding the upcoming Apple iPhone 7. Now, reliable leakster @onleaks has shared a few photos of an alleged iPhone 7 case pictured from all angles.

Looking at the case, it seems like the next iPhone could come with a similar design as its predecessor, the iPhone 6s. While the ports and buttons placement look the same, there seem to be a couple of changes through. First off, the camera cut out is slightly bigger compared to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. It may be to accommodate a slightly larger camera lens.

Secondly, the bottom portion has three cutouts for the lightning port flanked by speaker grille on both the sides. The leaked case does not show any cut out for the 3.5mm audio port, which could confirm the earlier reports pointing that Apple could ditch the 3.5mm audio jack and may come with an extra speaker. As of now, there is no way to confirm the authenticity of the leaked case and we would suggest you take it with the proverbial pinch of salt.

From the rumors that we have come across, the iPhone 7 is likely to feature Apple’s A10 processor, 3GB of RAM, bigger battery and up to 256GB of internal storage. A recent design render leak also pointed that the iPhone 7 won’t feature the annoying design elements like the antenna bands at the back. Apple may also employ WattUp technology for long-distance wirelessly charging from a distance of up to 15 feet.
