Galaxy S5 Mini first Android 4.4.2 Firmware (FXXU1ANG1) Released Online

Samsung officially announced and confirmed the Galaxy S5 Mini release date for various markets and while the smartphone isn’t still available for general purchase, its first Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware has been launched online.

We are getting used with these firmware launches as Samsung did the same for other handsets too. Even though the S5 Mini isn’t yet available in stores, its stock software can be checked out by its future users or by the third party devs, who can now start developing new custom ROMs based on the FXXU1ANG1 system (the built number tagged for the first Galaxy S5 Mini KitKat OS).

The FXXU1ANG1 represents a Russian firmware of the Galaxy S5 Mini, the software being available for download from this page. As already mentioned you can use the stock OS for testing the upcoming software that will be pre installed on the S5 Mini, or if you are an advanced Android user you can even port this ROM on other Android powered smartphones or tablets.
