Samsung Galaxy F Leaks in “Perfect Gold”

The Samsung Galaxy F leaks are making the headlines on a weekly basis, which might be a sign that we are getting closer to the release date of the new high-end Samsung flagship smartphone.

Before taking a look at the freshly leaked Galaxy F photo, I remind you that Samsung’s CEO JK Shin has denied the rumors of a premium Galaxy S5 variant soon after the debut of the current S5 model. Why? First of all, because he wanted to protect Galaxy S5′s sales as certain customers would have waited for the premium model. Secondly, because the smartphone might not be a Galaxy S5 variant, but this Galaxy F model everybody’s talking about lately. The rumors of a new Samsung family of premium devices called Galaxy F surfaced back in 2013.

The new leaked Samsung Galaxy F photo has hit the web courtesy of @evleaks, the well-known leaker who has an almost perfect record when it comes to reporting about unannounced smartphones and tablets. Evan Blass (aka evleaks) says that this is the “Perfect Gold” hue of the Samsung Galaxy F.

The new photo looks a lot like previous alleged Galaxy F spy shots we’ve seen around the web, showing the same brushed metal finish for the back lid and G3-like thin bezels. It’s very hard to say whether it’s real metal or just plastic with a metal finishing.

Anyway the date on the screen says Wednesday, 12 September. Since September 12 falls this year on a Friday and press renders are usually accurate when it comes to details as such, you shouldn’t rule out the possibility that you’re looking at a mockup or just a rendering made by a fan.

Because the veracity of the report can’t be verified in any way, we are advising you to take it with a pinch of salt as nothing is official until Samsung says so.

If the rumors are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy F will sport a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD (1440 x 2560) resolution, 3 GB of RAM, fingerprint sensor, heart rate monitor, and a 16 MP ISOCELL camera with Optical Image Stabilization.
