Best Android Games of the Week: RE-VOLT 2, The Inner World, and more in AUG 2014

This week comes with other great video games for you to install on your Android devices. RE-VOLT 2 has been launched and it should offer you tons of fun, while The Inner World adventure title from Headup Games might become the new cool video game for you to play.

In our article you will find only the best titles that were released in the past seven days. Most titles will require a small payment before installing them on your Android smartphone or tablet. RE-VOLT 2 MULTIPLAYER – FREE

The classic toy car racing video game, RE-VOLT, has received a brand new iteration, nad now it allows users to play in multiplayer mode. RE-VOLT 2 Multiplayer is now live in Google Play Store and it comes with 3D graphics and with a great touchscreen control configuration.

In Re-Volt 2 you will be able to play in single-player mode, while the multiplayer mode allows you to play against three opponents at the same time. The game is great, but its IAP service (in-app purchases) might drive you crazy in case you wish to complete the game faster and play without interruptions. In-game currency consists of ‘batteries’, an energy system.

If you want to test RE-VOLT 2 Multiplayer then you can head to Google Play Store and install it for free. It works with all devices running Android 2.3 and later versions.

The Inner World – $4.99

The Inner World is set in Asposia, a place where characters can breathe only thanks to three wind fountains. The story starts when these fountains are failing one after another.

This game is a point-and-click adventure title and it will take you to beautiful places across the whole world of Asposia, make sure not to get too distracted by the amazing work done its developers in drawing scenery and characters. The Inner World is hand-drawn non-stereoscopic 2D, it features great voice-overs and its gameplay should last somewhere around six hours.

The main hero in this story is Robert, a court musician. Try to find the troublemakers and solve the whole wind disappearance mystery in order to complete the game. Also, make sure to rely on Laura, a thief whose real intentions are unknown.

The Inner World can be played in both English and German. It doesn’t feature any in-app purchases and you can buy it for $4.99 from Google Play Store.

Super Crossfighter – $1.99

Arcade games are pretty big on Android devices and it seems like the Super Crossfighter title is packing a whole new level of excitement when it comes to blasting aliens out of the sky. It is a game designed by Radiangames and originally released as Super Crossfire, but some trademark issues with the name made them change it to Super Crossfighter.

Play more than 150 levels and then try to unlock the other 150 extra levels by blasting through aliens level after level. With each new mission you complete you will get the old school arcade feel and, if you’re a fan of this genre, then you shouldn’t hesitate on installing Super Crossfighter on your Android device.

Super Crossfighter is available for $1.99 from Google Play Store. It can be installed on all Android 2.3.3 and later versions.

Blood Bowl – $4.99

This is a video game that has been adapted from Warhammer Fantasy Footbal board game and it is now available for installation from Google Play Store. The game in its initial phase allows you to play humans and orcs, but you can lock other races using the in-game store.

Blood Bowl needs you to create a team of 11 brawlers and it features RPG elements as you will have to use two-step turns every time you need to take actions on defense or offense. Roll the dice and strategize your moves early so that you will easily beat your opponents. Note that you can play against users from all over the world using the cross-platform multiplayer elements.

The game might seem too complex for novices, but you will be able to use the tutorial in order to learn the Blood Bowl mechanics. Also, note that it can be played only on tablet, no smartphones are supported.
