Rumor has it that the Nexus 6 release date is today. In the meantime, the highly-anticipated made a cameo on AT&T’s website.
The Nexus 6 product page is not yet live on AT&T’s website, but the device is listed in the carrier’s “People Also Viewed” sidebar. If you visit the LG G3 Vigor page you will be able to see it with your own eyes. Just scroll down a bit and you will see the Motorola Nexus 6 listed at $49.99. Anyway, if you press the “View details” button you land on AT&T’s Motorola smartphones page.
Of course, this isn’t a guarantee that the final price of the AT&T Nexus 6 will be $49.99 with a two-year contract. Furthermore, the image that appears next to the Motorola Nexus 6 listing is the LG Vista. With all these being said, the Nexus 6 might be the first Nexus phone sold directly through AT&T.
I remind you that recent reports have indicated that the next-gen Nexus smartphone will arrive with beastly technical specifications. The device packs a 5.2-inch screen with Quad HD (1440 x 2560) resolution, while being underpinned by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset based on four Krait 450 cores clocked at 2.7 GHz and an Adreno 420 GPU. Nexus 6 is also expected to arrive with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, an a massive 3,200 mAh battery. The rumor mill also talks about a 2MP user-facing camera and a 13 MP rear shooter with optical image stabilization, dual-LED flash, and 4K video recording support. Without a doubt, the phone will run Android L out of the box.
