Small HTC One M7 Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update Rolls Out for Non-US Devices
HTC has released a brand new KitKat 4.4.3 build for worldwide HTC One M7 smartphones except for the US models. Check your smartphone’s notifications panel or the System updates menu in order to find out if there are any new firmware files ready for download.
The new update comes with small tweaks and improvements, it should be the final KitKat build that we will see released for the HTC One M7 devices. HTC is currently working on Android 5.0 Lollipop roll out, but that shouldn’t happen up until late January / early February 2015. Until then you should keep your One M7 device updated with the latest KitKat firmware.
Android 4.4.3 KitKat new update for the HTC One M7 has the firmware version set to 6.09.401.11 and it adds bug fixes and OS improvements that will make your device run faster and better than before. The update notification should arrive starting today on all the One M7 models in phases.
Confirm the download and installation process after you’re notified that Android 4.4.3 6.09.401.11 firmware build has arrived. Make sure to use an Wi-Fi connection in order to complete the download process. If you want to use the mobile data to download all files, then you should that the update pack measures 193MB.
If you won’t get the update today then you shouldn’t panic as it will surely arrive before the end of next week. Also, you can use the System Update menu of your HTC One M7 in order to see if there are any new files available for download and installation. Remember that in case you have a US One M7 model, then this update isn’t available for you.
