HTC One M7 Android 4.4.3 Update Now Rolling out for T-Mobile Users

Good news, T-Mobile HTC One M7 users! The carrier officially revealed that as of September 10 they are rolling out the HTC One M7 Android 4.4.3 for their users. As you might have guessed already, we are talking about a minor update so don’t expect anything surprising to happen to your device.

According to the official changelog posted on T-Mobile’s support page, the HTC One M7 Android 4.4.3 brings T-Mobile Free Inflight Texting support. Of course, there will also be bug fixes and minor performance improvements. Because all the KitKat-specific goodies such as cloud printing, new Location menu, transparent status and nav bars, white status bar icons, immersive mode, full screen album art in the lock screen, or color emoji support were patched in the previous Android 4.4 updates for One M7, don’t expect any dramatic interface changes.

It’s also worth noting that the new HTC One M7 Android 4.4.3 update has build number 6.10.531.9. As usual, the update is being pushed to users in phases, which means that some of you might not be able to update your devices right away. Of course, as soon as your T-Mobile One M7 becomes eligible to receive the new firmware you should be able to notice a system update message in the notifications bar. Tap on it, choose Download, then select Install now after the download is completed. If the system update notification failed to appear, you would also want to perform a manual check under Settings > About > Software updates > Check for updates.

The carrier also revealed that the new update has a size of 155 MB. Therefore we are recommending you to download the update file using a stable WiFi connection to avoid unwanted data charges.
